A shop for an original thing
An invention that does not exist yet. That is the start, not a problem. People get knocked off the block because they are not engineers, not funded, and not invited — or because a chat gives them a speech instead of the next physical thing. This shop stays with the one idea. Each block is bigger than the last, and you only step up when the one you are on is real.
The awareness
01 Need Who is stuck, and what they do instead. 02 Object Parts, material, and the way it fails. 03 Make The smallest real way to produce one. 04 Cost What the first one actually costs, in dollars. 05 Knockoff What can be copied, and what stays with you. 06 Harm Who could get hurt, and which rule applies. 01 Awareness. See the thing clearly enough to stay with it.02 First article. One real object, in your hands.03 The paper. The record, the patent, and how it gets paid for.04 The name. Trademark the brand a buyer says, not the invention.05 Other hands. Someone else uses it. You watch.06 Small run. Ten of them, made the same way.07 In the world. A stranger can get one, and it can be fixed.08 Bigger thing. The next invention this one makes possible.Date it this week. A page with the thing, a sketch, and your name. A chat window is not a record. Do not post drawings. A public disclosure can start a one-year clock in the United States and can bar a patent in many other countries. A US provisional holds a filing date for 12 months. It is not a granted patent. As of September 2026 the USPTO fee is $65, $130, or $325, depending on entity size. The name is a trademark, not a patent. One word, one class of goods. The base USPTO fee is $350. Use TM until a registration exists. The circle-R comes after. The money is one choice: sell the unit, license the right, or keep the method quiet and get paid for the work. The Block is a way of paying attention. It is not a lawyer, an engineer, or a permit office. If a step could hurt someone, that part waits for a licensed person.
